What a difference a weekend makes. On September 30th and October 1st, residents of the Junction Triangle joined Ward 19 City Councillor Ana Bailao and Toronto Hydro, to transform the Edwin Avenue Hydro Gardens.
Community members planted a whopping 580 new native Ontario plants, donated by the City of Toronto. With two properties located in the Junction Triangle, TAS knows and loves this neighbourhood, and we were proud to donate all snacks and refreshments for the two day event.
Kudos to all of the volunteers who donated their time (and elbow grease) to make their community a healthier and more beautiful place to live. Events like these, which get neighbours out to socialize and exercise, are what build strong, engaged communities within this city we all share.
